Hertz buys power generating company Forces

Hertz Global Holdings Inc. said on Monday that one of its units has bought power generator rental company Forces Inc.

Terms were not disclosed.

The addition of Forces should boost revenue in Hertz's equipment rental unit by $6 million in 2011, the company said. Forces is based in Naperville, Ill., and provides power in the Chicago area and around the upper Midwest.
