HGTV will celebrate 15 years of making dreams come true when it presents its latest HGTV Dream Home, fully furnished, modern rustic mountain home in Stowe, Vermont for the HGTV Dream Home special New Year’s Day 2011, ET/10 pm 1: 12 am PT. The spectacular home, located below the magnificent Mt. Mansfield is part of a package of $ 2,000,000 grand prize includes a 2011 GMC Denali Acadia and cash of $500,000. The prize will be awarded to a lucky viewer in March 2011. Until then, users can view online a gallery of photos and a 360-degree virtual tour of the custom design house HGTV.com/DREAMHOME.

The competition began on 1 January, New Year’s Day and continues until 5 February. That makes 47 days of entry. And going twice a day, doubling the chances that just entered once. Making it possible for you to get a total of 94 likely to be the big winner.

The design of the nearly 3,400 square meters HGTV Dream Home, located at Spruce Peak at Stowe Mountain Resort, was inspired in the late 19 Adirondack-style mountain retreat. Created with bold and innovative ideas that make each HGTV Dream Home so exciting and unique, has three bedrooms, including “ski room” that sleeps eight, three and a half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and two family meeting places with a large amount of natural light.

During the January television special, hosted by Monica Pedersen, HGTV Dream Home designer Linda Woodrum interior and the House of Planning Jack Thomasson will take viewers on a visual excursion that includes every room in the house. HGTV designer John Gidding’s Curb Appeal: The Block will present to viewers a panoramic view of the house, including a landscape designed with outdoor entertaining in mind.
